{"id":1807,"date":"2023-04-03T15:46:50","date_gmt":"2023-04-03T06:46:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/adop-mjc-test.com\/?page_id=1560"},"modified":"2025-06-13T18:17:51","modified_gmt":"2025-06-13T09:17:51","slug":"community","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/adop-mjc-test.com\/en\/sustainability\/community\/","title":{"rendered":"Community and Regional Activities"},"content":{"rendered":"    <section>\r\n      <div class=\"title--no-image\">\r\n        <h1 class=\"inner\">Community and Regional Activities<\/h1>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n      <div class=\"inner\">\r\n        <ul class=\"breadcrumbs\">\r\n          <li><a href=\"\/en\/\">Top<\/a><\/li>\r\n          <li><a href=\"\/en\/sustainability\/\">Sustainability<\/a><\/li>\r\n          <li>Community and Regional Activities<\/li>\r\n        <\/ul>\r\n      <\/div>\r\n\r\n      <section class=\"pdg-tb170\">\r\n        <div class=\"bg-gray\">\r\n          <div class=\"inner\">\r\n            <p class=\"csr-under__catch font20--text font-sp14 show lazy\">In the course of our business activities, it is essential for us to coexist with the local community.<br>The following are some of the community initiatives that we undertake.<\/p>\r\n          <\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n\r\n        <div class=\"inner\">\r\n          <div class=\"pdg-t170\">\r\n            <h2 class=\"title--hyphen pdg-b70 show lazy\">Neputa Festival<\/h2>\r\n            <div class=\"flex_pc flex_afs flex_jsb\">\r\n              <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/adop-mjc-test.com\/wp-content\/themes\/adop-mjc\/img\/csr\/community_image1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"csr-under__image csr-under__image-wide show lazy\">\r\n              <div class=\"csr-under__text font-sp14 show lazy\">\r\n                <p>In Hirakawa City,  Aomori, where our Aomori plant is located, we participate in the annual summer floats festival called \"Hirakawa Neputa Festival\".<\/p>\r\n                <p class=\"mgn-t2em\">We parade through the streets with our own neputa float in the shape of a fan, enlivened by the traditional musical accompaniment with the call of 'Ya-ya-do', joining together with other local companies and members of the community.<\/p>\r\n              <\/div>\r\n            <\/div>\r\n          <\/div>\r\n\r\n          <div class=\"pdg-t170\">\r\n            <h2 class=\"title--hyphen pdg-b70 show lazy\">Blood Donations<\/h2>\r\n            <div class=\"flex_pc flex_afs flex_jsb\">\r\n              <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/adop-mjc-test.com\/wp-content\/themes\/adop-mjc\/img\/csr\/community_image2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"csr-under__image show lazy\">\r\n              <div class=\"csr-under__text font-sp14 show lazy\">\r\n                <p>As part of MJC's social contribution activities, we conduct blood donation drives for our employees and cooperate with the Red Cross Blood Bank.<\/p>\r\n                <p class=\"mgn-t2em\">We will continue our blood donation activities in order to save as many lives in need of blood transfusions as possible.<\/p>\r\n              <\/div>\r\n            <\/div>\r\n          <\/div>\r\n\r\n          <div class=\"pdg-t170\">\r\n            <h2 class=\"title--hyphen pdg-b70 show lazy\">Placement of AEDs<\/h2>\r\n            <div class=\"flex_pc flex_afs flex_jsb\">\r\n              <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/adop-mjc-test.com\/wp-content\/themes\/adop-mjc\/img\/csr\/community_image3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"csr-under__image csr-under__image-wide show lazy\">\r\n              <div class=\"csr-under__text font-sp14 show lazy\">\r\n                <p>MJC has set up automated external defibrillators (AEDs), devices used to restore normal heart function by applying an electric shock to the heart in the case of ventricular fibrillation, which is one of the causes of sudden cardiac death.<\/p>\r\n                <p class=\"mgn-t2em\">In the case of sudden cardiac arrest, early intervention before handing the patient over to rescue personnel is acknowledged as a means of increasing the chances of resuscitation.<\/p>\r\n                <p class=\"mgn-t2em\">We envision that these AEDs could be used not only for MJC's employees but also for other people in the vicinity in an emergency.
